Well, no more secrets. My new single “ELEVATOR” is officially streaming and out into the world TODAY. If you haven’t already, please go to www.ErinMcCarley.com and check that sh*t out! Having a great time reading what all of you sweet ones are saying about it. Jamie and I had an absolute blast writing this tune. From late night percussion sessions, to angry bird sound making (you will hear in the intro), to major laughter eruption because of ridiculous lyric writing, to dancing our asses off, the studio was a Brazilian circus while recording Elevator. I’m trying to dig and find any video footage that I may have from this process…stay tuned with fingers crossed.
In the meantime, I have a TREAT for those of you that wanna sign up for the email list. I had a couple of days experimenting with iMovie awhile back, and challenged myself to make a video for Elevator. Editing down 3 hours of footage into three minutes and 33 seconds was pretty freakin’ hilarious. And time-consuming. IF you signup this week for the email list, I’ll send you a link to be the first to view this homemade video this Friday, VIP style. *Keep in mind: This will just be a pre-cursor to the official video that I am about to shoot in LA in a couple of weeks!
Wow. This is fun. At least for me.
I’d love for you to spread the word and keep checking back for more updates. I got a lot more where this came from…
xxoo,
Erin aka. Peanut

“Confidence in the future is an illusion. If you’re honest with yourself you simply can’t have it, since too many things that affect your life are outside of your control. But what can you have is something else — confidence in the present. Confidence in this very moment. In your ability to make the best of it. In your strength. In your purpose. And as these moments one by one add up to what we call life, the future will arrive — not anxiously awaited, but probably, purposely shaped.”
One magical kiss.

Chuck, tell me our story.
Well, it started with a guy who worked at Buy More, and then one day an old college friend of his sent him an email that was filled with secrets. And then the next day his life really changed when he met a spy named Sarah. And he fell in love.
